If you are looking for a personal tutor for your child or children look no further. Paige is an excellent tutor and we feel quite fortunate to have been able to secure her services. Our son worked with Paige for several years from elementary school to high school graduation. Our son is now moving on to college and we already will miss our weekly tutoring sessions. She was instrumental in assisting our son in improving his study skills from mathematics to English literature. Engaging him in a way so he would not fear a particular problem in math or to get through a reading assignment. But mostly just building his confidence in his approach to school assignments, study skills, testing and preparing for college essays. Best decision and investment we have made in nurturing our child through grade school. Highly recommend!
Paige is an exceptional tutor. She started working with one of our children three years ago, and has grown to be an amazing resource for each of our three children. Paige is kind and patient. She truly appreciates each child's unique learning style. She guides them through concepts in a way that bolsters their confidence. I can't express enough how great a tutor Paige is. She tutored our daughter from 8th grade through her senior year of high school. Our daughter has some learning challenges and needed a tutor who understood her learning style and Paige created a way of teaching subjects to her that she understood. This review is long overdue! Paige is an absolutely amazing tutor. She tutored me in Math from 8th grade all the way through my senior year of High School. She was patient, kind, and helped me through the toughest subject I would have to learn in school. Before I met Paige, I felt like a failure, like I simply could not, and would not ever understand mathematics. Thanks to this woman, I was not only able to graduate 8th, then High School, but also graduated from USF (many many math classes later), and now own a successful business.
Still to this day, at the age of 29, Paige represents a turning point in my life. She truly helped me to understand the way I learn, and eased me through a difficult time as a student. My daughter worked on strengthening her writing skills with Paige this summer, and went from being a student who "hated to write" to one who now finds excitement and value in the written word. Paige was clear, patient, and effective in her teaching approach, and had very genuine interpersonal skills. I give her the highest recommendation to others, and will definitely call her again, should we have the need.
I cannot say enough good things about Paige and A Plus Home Tutoring. Like many students, I had to take three algebra classes before I could enroll in statistics. After trying out various math tutors, I was fortunate to discover Paige and quickly realized that she was the best of the best. She was kind, thoughtful, dedicated(!), encouraging, punctual, reliable, had excellent listening skills and I felt at ease with her right from the get-go. It was clear that she had multiple skill sets that could only be acquired after many years of experience in the field. I was grateful that I found someone who had an in-depth understanding of the various learning styles and used the teaching method that worked best for me. This was worth its weight in gold. I did very well in all three classes and I do not know how I would have made it through school without her help. I am now preparing to take the CSET for grad school and will undoubtedly be turning to her for help with various aspects of the exam. I am giving Paige a 5 star review because she more than deserves it, and I truly believe that anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will be very lucky indeed.
